Sunday, July 23rd 2006 John Kerry on Hezbullah... and Yes.. He Managed to Flip-flop
John Kerry, the ultimate flip-flopper of all flip-floppers, somehow managed to be even more idiotic this weekend by stating in response to the Israel/ Lebanon crisis (and I'm quoting here...) "If I was president, this wouldn't have happened,"
If He was President (Amen to him only being able to hypothesize about that), this wouldn't have happened... I'm not entirely sure what he's talking about when he said "this wouldn't have happened..." Does he mean... Israel wouldn't be bombarding Lebanon? Hezbollah wouldn't have executed multiple acts of war on Israel? He would have made Israel bend over backwards to accept the fact that Hezbollah kidnapped two soldiers and for months prior to that have been hurling Rockets into Sovereign Israeli territory from Territory that Israel kindly gave back to Lebanon and just work with them to stop? No.. I'm not entirely sure... but he does go on to say (and again.. I'm quoting..) "This is about American security and Bush has failed. He has made it so much worse because of his lack of reality in going into Iraq.…We have to destroy Hezbollah," he said. [Emphasis Added]. So to summarize, if John Kerry were president Israel wouldn't be destroying Hezbollah but we would need to still Destroy Hezbollah... Yes... ok... I'm so happy I voted for W.
